From: Tom De Mulder <Tom.De.Mulder@bewoner.dma.be> Newsgroups: alt.fan.pratchett.announce,alt.fan.pratchett,alt.books.pratchett Subject: [ANNOUNCE] [F] Beljum 1.0 - first meet on february 28th 1998 Date: 25 Feb 1998 10:35:18 -0000 Message-ID: <250298103440afpa@marian.cs.nott.ac.uk> -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- OK, here (at last) is some more information on the first Beljum meet: how to get there (where? Exactly.) etcetera. Since a bunch of uk'ers arrive by Eurostar at about 16:10, we'll meet at the station - to make life a little easier. For some reason, Brussels isn't the easiest city to find your way. When do we expect people: between 16h00 and 17h00, at the little cafe next to the Eurostar terminal. (People arriving from the UK just go right after the escalator). Other people, coming by train, should get off the train at Brussels South (aka "Brussel Zuid" aka "Midi") and head for the Eurostar terminal, in the same building. Same cafe, same time. Afterwards, we'll head for La Luna, an excellent Italian restaurant (situated Chaussee de Jette 231, 1080 Brussels - should people be very late and miss the group) where we have reservations for 20h. So we'll probably stop at one (or more) pub(s) on the way, or do some tourist stuff. And after that... we'll see. The Brussels public transport only runs until a little after midnight, so we'll either have to take cabs or stay out until 5h - depends on what people favour most. (-; This should be enough information, methinks. If people are coming who didn't tell me yet, please let me know! +____ * . \ / .
