There are no details as yet, other than it will probably be in January or February and that it will be somewhere in Sydney. The last one was in Newtown, and I'm quite happy to have this one in Newtown as well particularly given the enormous number of eateries. It will most likely be held on a weekend in the evening. Many of us don't come out during the daytime and it gives people travelling from far away time to get there and back. It has also been suggested that we include denizens of aus.tv.x-files who also happen to be pratchett fans, but I shall leave any such decision making to someone else ie the group consensus. All details (or lack thereof) are subject to change at any given moment, and decisions will be made by...someone. Anyway all interested parties can email me: snail@pobox.com.au and we'll see where we end up from there. tata snail - -- // \X/snail snail@pobox.com.au I'm a man of my word. Date: Saturday 28 June 1997 Time: 6pm Venue: Outside the _Green Iguana_ cafe, King St (Sydney Uni end) Newtown. (Don't know the street address yet) We shall meet and said venue and then proceed hubwards in search of food and other substances. I shall have a cabbage with me for identification purposes and will probably be wearing the scarf, the afp tshirt (although it will probably be too cold to display it), and at least one anorankh. There are at least two of us going regardless. Any opportunity to eat in Newtown is a good one as far as I'm concerned. Possibly three if Annette hasn't started working in Brisbane :) Any further questions, please feel free to email me: snail@pobox.com.au bye snail - -- // \X/snail snail@pobox.com.au I'm a man of my word.
