Hi all,

To celebrate the visit to Perth, Western Australia, by Paul (Warwick)
and Johanna (Jo) Kennedy, it has been decided that an AFPerth meet
shall be convened on the 29th of August 1998.

The starting place for this meet shall be The Moon and Sixpence pub,
on Murray Street, Perth, near the corner of William Street, although
this may be altered if someone can think of another pub which serves
English-style "real ale" and that is more convivial. (I've had the
Lynwood Arms suggested - anyone got any thoughts?).

Starting time is undecided - probably about 6.30 - 7pm, and finishing
time is beyond my capacity to judge.

So, anyway, if you're in the area, and you're interested in making a
couple of visiting UKers feel welcome (and showing them how an Aussie
crowd likes to party) please come along!

Bring: yourselves, your sense of humor, anything vaguely
Pratchettesque (is this a word?), and money for your own drinks!

If people want to volunteer themselves as "skippers" or to offer crash
space or similar services, could you contact me at

	magpie@megabitch.tm

Alternatively, if you need a "skipper" or crash space, please feel
free to get in contact with me at the above address. I may be able to
offer some crash space, but you'll need to supply blankets.

Hope to see you there.
