Yes, I know it's short notice. Sue me. *evilgrin* (1) Emmet O'Brien, who has recently completed the work on his doctoral thesis, has escaped from Cork, Ireland, and is making the Grand Tour of the North American continent. Since he is currently in the Washington, DC area, we (2) are using this as an excuse for a meet. Location: 94th Air Squadron (yes, it's a restaurant), 5240 Paint Branch Parkway, College Park, Maryland (phone: 301-699-9400) Time: 7:00pm Directions: Approx. 1-1/2 blocks from the College Park Metro stop (Green Line) (If you plan on driving, drop me an e-mail and I'll send you directions) If you plan on attending, please drop me an e-mail by Thursday, Oct. 15, so that I can have some idea of how many might be attending ... so that I can make a reservation at the restaurant. Crashspace: That could probably be worked out. E-mail me with your phone number and we'll discuss it. Penny (1) Ok ... am truly sorry about the late notice ... life has been a bit more out-of-control than it usually is (2) Tamar is my partner in crime -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 2.6.3ia Charset: noconv iQBVAwUBNiXWi8wDYDS4V4OpAQFnrwH/QBvVoIkG1sjnodz0GALupthX55MkJx0M +KK4AR4/WgV8Q2W1vMeY9HTX79RZ/WDSyenloIsFcRHmnMwiS9FJDw== =tfPr -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Submissions for alt.fan.pratchett.announce to: afpa-mod@lspace.org All submissions are PGP signed.
