sorry if I get this all messed up, and apologies for being a cocky bastard but I couldn't resist having ago and I'm fairly pleased with the result

so...here goes

Don't Scream It's Cohen

There is weather without
There is weather within
Try and catch the deluge in a stolen cup
There's a battle ahead

Many battles are lost
But you'll never see the end of the road when you're travelling with me
Hey now, Hey now, Don't scream it's Cohen
Hey now, Hey now, When his back gives in
He comes, He comes, Over a wall behind us
We know we won't win

Now I' m searching my home
There's a hole in the roof
My possessions have vanished but there's no proof
He went past yesterday
With incredible haste
Now I turn round finding nothing in the place
Hey now, Hey now, Don't scream it's Cohen
Hey now, Hey now, When his back gives in
He comes, He comes, Over a wall behind us
We know we won't win

Now he's walking again
To the beat of a drum
And he's counting the steps to the bed in his tent
Only four miles to go
He'll be back at his camp
And get to know the feeling of liberation and release
Hey now, Hey now, Don't scream it's Cohen
Hey now, Hey now, When his back gives in
He comes, He comes, Over a wall behind us
We know we won't win

*exaggerated bow*
