Gaspode's Song

It was the Blown Away premiere and the city was burning,
There was fog creeping over the Ankh,
When the Things broke through we felt the whole Disc turning.
They took the shape of the star,
'Cos it's Holy Wood we've got to thank.

You were ready to fight, and be a real hero,
I was ready to run with great haste.
I figured our chances could be less than zero,
But with Holy Wood rules,
We won without a minute,
Won without a minute,
Won without a minute to waste.

When we escaped the caves Laddie and I felt weak,
An' I wanted to say I'd had enough of this lark.
I'm trying to speak but no matter what I do,
All that comes out is simply a bark.

'Cos you took the words right out of my mouth,
The power Holy Wood had given me,
You took the words right out of my mouth,
And I swear it's true,
That if I could I'd want to thank you.
(Thank you!)

'Cos you took the words right out of my mouth,
The power Holy Wood had given me,
You took the words right out of my mouth,
And I swear it's true,
That if I could I'd want to thank you.
I swear it's true,
I want to thank you.
